a few quotes of the day, sitting here thinking hmmm what if…. mike and i have been having quite a few conversations as of late about what if we go do this??? or that ???? what do you want to do??? we are waiting to see what our future holds and i have to tell you, it’s kind of exciting, scary maybe a little, but for me more exciting, and where ever we go or what ever we do for the next five years, we know it will be God’s plan and that is what makes it all ok:)

and then this one, and i chuckled to my self when i read this one, because of a conversation with shel just the other day… about how eliza isn’t afraid of monsters and how she makes her monster sounds. i love her, she is growing and changing every day and her personality is shining through…it is really going to be fun to watch her grow:)

this one i especially like, because mike is an eternal optimist and i have to say, i love having lived with him for the past almost 37 years… he makes life totally worth living and i love that he ALWAYS  puts the best construction on everything! so that is why it has been easy of late to BE STILL…….PRAISE GOD!

yesterday was sanctity of life sunday, observing 39 years of roe v wade that made abortion legal… please pray for people’s hearts to be changed and know this is morally wrong.

started a bible study on sunday mornings titled generosity, think it is going to be a good one… i like thinking of the definition using words such as giving, unselfish, sharing, charitable, but the big one i think would define generous is sacrifice, yep we all give out of our abundance but what about when we have to sacrifice something… this is going to be good:) there is a difference between giving and generosity …………

tomorrow morning start a new beth moore bible study on the book of james, really looking forward to that one too

every year since mike’s mom died, we have put an easter lily on the altar in her memory and then bring it to their grave, now for christmas we will put a poinsettia on the altar and then go and put it at my mom and dad’s grave… and we also put one on the altar for delia:) steph put the wreath there,

we have found ourselves back there a few times, just to talk, this road of grief we are going down is hard and i can’t thank a special friend for being there for me and just letting me sob on her shoulder! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!” it hurts, the pain is still too new, i know they say time heals, i need time…steph made the comment that we have never had to live on this earth without our mom, so this is new territory for us..it hurts

yesterday it was 56 here, mike almost got the bike out of storage for a ride!!!

little epiphany baby… on your baptism day!

nothing better than spending new years with the kids:) headed down to southern indiana for the new year weekend, got to work on the house and got a lot done, with james and shel and luke and tam and dav and whit helping… we accomplished a lot! had fun working together and playing together! peg and will had all of us over to the lake house for new years eve, then we all went to church together on new years day:)
