steph sent this to me, i thought i would share,<\/p>\n

holidays interrupt the grieving process.\u00a0 grief is full time work.\u00a0 grief means you are living on survival level.\u00a0 when you are surviving, holidays seem far too trivial to even be considered.<\/em><\/p>\n

just learned of my cousin bob’s death, we were not real close in age, he was my oldest cousin on my dad’s side , but loved to be together when we were, i remember it was fun to be around him.<\/p>\n

RIP<\/p>\n

Robert William Elser Jr., 67, passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, in his home.
\nHe was born onDec. 25, 1943, in Evergreen Park, Ill., to Mr and Mrs Robert Elser Sr. He moved here from Sarasota in 2000.<\/div>\n

He was retired from the City of Sarasota as a water treatment plant operator. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Crawfordville. He was also an endowment member of the National Rifle Association.<\/div>\n
A memorial service for Robert will be held at his home, located at 428 Hickory Hammock Road, on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 10 a.m. He loved his home and land out on \u201cthe river\u201d and would like to share his joy with all. Please join us. The family requests that in lieu of flowers any memorial donations be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church at P.O. Box 940, Crawfordville FL 32326.<\/div>\n
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Elser of Elkhart, Ind.; his wife, Janet Elser; a daughter, Donna; a son, Russell of Carrabelle, who attends Concordia College in Selma, Ala.; a grandson, Christopher Piersall and soon-to-be granddaughter Samantha Thorpe, both of Muscatine, Iowa.<\/div>\n
( for my kids, this was my dad’s brothers son) aunt ginny and uncle bob had 2 kids bob and jeannie, jeannie married ralph silver and they live over near elkhart in bristol, indiana<\/div>\n
