{"id":5931,"date":"2011-12-24T18:16:02","date_gmt":"2011-12-24T22:16:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/?p=5931"},"modified":"2011-12-24T18:57:07","modified_gmt":"2011-12-24T22:57:07","slug":"merry-christmas-from-our-house-to-yours-the-vandercars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/?p=5931","title":{"rendered":"MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS &#8220;THE VANDERCAR&#8217;S&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>we had our CHRISTmas yesterday and this morning, now all the kids are back home or at other family gatherings&#8230;we sure had a house full, and now it&#8217;s just nana and papa and the dogs! i&#8217;ll have to post one of the kids and family after this one, but i wanted to thank my awesome talented daughters for all their gifts,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5511.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5932\" title=\"IMG_5511\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5511.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5511\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>i absolutely love when they make us things, it&#8217;s the best getting the gifts which are homemade:) and i have to add a thank you to the guys for the gift cards received, didn&#8217;t want to leave the guys out!  adrienne is an artist:) she painted a family tree, with hearts as the leaves, with all the names and our babies in heaven too:)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5539.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5933\" title=\"IMG_5539\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5539.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5539\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>tammy made some jam and the kids silhouettes and me a tea wallet<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5525.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5934\" title=\"IMG_5525\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5525.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5525\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>whit made us our coffee mugs<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5523.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5935\" title=\"IMG_5523\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5523.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5523\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>shel made us an ornament of eliza&#8217;s handprint (notice the ornament near it, i gave one to shel and one for me, it is mary and the baby, but i told shel when i got them i was thinking it was her and delia)  <a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5513.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5936\" title=\"IMG_5513\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5513.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5513\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and a wallet shel made, with of course our favorite restaurant gift card in it:)  <a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5526.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5937\" title=\"IMG_5526\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_5526.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5526\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and james and shel together made this for papa,<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_55041.JPG\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5948\" title=\"IMG_5504\" src=\"http:\/\/mom.vandercar.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_55041.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_5504\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>i&#8217;m not sure the story behind him breaking the crowbar while working on the house, but they decided to put it in a shadow box for him,<\/p>\n<p>and the plaque says  &#8220;MIKE VANDERCAR made possible by always taking the heavy end 2011&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>and that is an inside joke with all my boys and now james hears the same story from papa:)<\/p>\n<p>the girls all made gifts for each other and the boys did a six pack beer exchange:) of all different beers<\/p>\n<p>we were blessed to have all of our kids and grandkids here, spiral ham dinner and fixings, opening presents, mass chaos, hot tub,then all spend the night, pinterest breakfast&#8230;.airbeds in the living room and dining room, we make it work&#8230;WE ARE FAMILY!
