wow today the oldest of our grandchildren…emma starts 1st grade!
sidenote to pic: the babies were “fighting” over adriennes pearls! it was pretty funny really…. shel said “way to go mom!” cause they were really distracted and we couldn’t get them to look at the camera! oops:)
i got to be with emma yesterday after spending the night after the pig roast…. watching her stand up front of church and singing with the other sunday school kids, i couldn’t help but think how grown up she looked! she is growing right before our eyes…they had the teacher dedication yesterday during church, and i got to meet her teacher, very nice:) emma is excited….please world take care of her, treat her gently world…..thank you for giving her the gift of going to st. johns lutheran school.

She was so excited! Couldn’t sleep last night and she was up and ready to go before 7 this morning. I’ll try to get a picture up on the blog before the day is over. She loved that she had her own desk, instead of sitting at a table, and her teacher had a little welcome bag at every desk.
