a new world has opened up for emma! how exciting for all of us:)
here she is showing the first book she ever read to me
and here she is doing her homework for the weekend
she comes from a long line of readers……….some of my earliest memories of nanny are coming into her house in oak forest and she always had a book propped open on the counter. my mom loved to read and that is what she is having the hardest time with, she made the comment the other day “not being able to read is worse than having cancer” just finished reading a book to her titled ” God’s closet ally” pretty strange book, ( it’s not closest it’s closet!)…..not something i would personally have chosen to read. it was hard to read aloud to someone because i had to change the tone of my voice each paragraph because it was a conversation going on between this guy and light – God ……..i love to read and i know tammy loves to read, so emma comes by it quite naturally, i think:)…..grandma loved having emma come and read to her, she always boasts about how smart she is:) and while i’m boasting!
warning parental and aunt boasting ahead!
my mom usually at least once while i am with her, talks about all the girls, meaning alyssa, rachel, tammy, whitney and adrienne ( the last two she always says she wishes she knew them more than she does) the girls the boys married:) she says
“those boys all chose such delightful, wonderful girls!”
we know mom!!! they did:)
i love how she always uses the word delightful! and she told me she thinks tammy and her have souls that are in touch with each other!!!
WE ARE SO VERY BLESSED!
