i love making up titles for these posts
when james walked in last night from a 16 hour day, i looked up from my seat on the couch and this is what i saw:)
i said wait….. i’ve never had a soldier walk in the front door!!! he just looked at me, like i was weird:)
just got back from lunch at the picnic cafe in dahlonega, antiquing, and a quick visit to the doctor to check out a rash on eliza………… an allergic reaction to something, nothing serious, i’m telling you this little girl is so vocal and so animated, she cracks me up. you can’t go anywhere without someone commenting on how beautiful she is:) today she is 1/2 yr. old already! that is so hard to believe.
last night shel steamed and put organic yams in little 40z. canning jars for eliza, she used the food mill grandma elser had given her for her shower….i wouldn’t have thought to use these for baby jars.
i know i said it before, but i love watching shel make a home and be a mom, i remember when she said ” i want to be a mom, just like you mom” that to me was the highest compliment i had ever been paid:) and i hope and pray you find your life as a mom as rewarding as i did!
i am still sneezing and have a head cold, but she had a great night sleep last night.we all did, so that helped:)
i did the Wii for the first time, we bowled and i got 3 strikes in a row to start off with, i only ended with a 168 but i won the game:)
james is taking us out to dinner tonight:)
blessings on your night <>< +
