marathon day of shopping, today mom wanted me to take her to dollar tree in merrillville, she loves that place, she can’t see though, so we go down every aisle and she says “what is over here?” what about here? wants me to hand her stuff so she can hold it close and see if she can read or see what it is.
here she is waiting for me to come and get her:)she looks lost among all the stuff!
then we headed to red robin, she wanted to start off with the tower of onion rings, and was thrilled when they came!
after lunch she was exhausted and it was time to go home, and then head to valparaiso to meet tammy and the kids, to do some school shopping, i enjoyed helping the girls find the stuff they needed…that was a success:) so we headed to steak and shake for food and ice cream to top it off, i wished i had got a pic of evia with her milk shake with the whipped cream and cherry on top, her eyes gave away how thrilled she was:)my phone died and i didn’t have my charger with me, so no more pics…..i can’t believe little bit is going to school!!!
then i headed home and it took me at least 2 1/2 hours to get home, I-65 was shut down south bound, after sitting i found a way off, but then the next time to get on was shut down too! finally got home after 9 after 12 hours of going, going going….tomorrow day of rest:)
got home and shel and james and eliza and all their stuff was gone…once again it’s mike, me and the dogs, we’ll keep maggs til they get settled:)
