yesterday i headed to luke and tammys, to take the kids out for the night, mike headed to lutherhaven on his bike to go help build the new cabins…
got there and this is who met me out in the yard!
an adorable lion…. i like how he is holding his tail:)
a mermaid
and a rocker
tammy did a great job on the costumes.. this was the back of evia’s hair complete with sea shells all over
luke and tammy were hosting their bible study dinner and study, so it worked out perfect. i had got on line and purchased the tickets for the play at the memorial opera house. first we stopped for some dinner, then headed to the downtown… the info from the theatre said they do trick or treating before hand around the downtown square, it was a big deal with the downtown shut down to traffic and a band and a lot going on…so we headed to go get candy:) we got there with only 25 minutes left of the trick or treating but it worked perfect, the first couple people we went to, saw their pumpkins empty and thought they needed some extra! most of the lines we had heard about were already gone, we had met pete and his girls in the parking lot and he said the lines had been long, i guess getting there late was a good thing for us…. we just walked around and went near the stage. erik he said you guys were around, we looked but didn’t see you
the band was finishing up, we stopped near the fire trucks and fireman
and then we headed to the opera house for the real reason i took the kids out:)
stopped at will call picked up our tickets, just in time to go in and get our seats and watch the play,
afterwards the kids got to go up on stage and meet the actors and get candy
what a fun-filled night! i really enjoyed it…. and the kids, when coming out said “nana that was fun!”
i told them grandma elser loved going to the theatre and she would be happy they were going to the childrens theatre.
i wonder what my other little goblins will be???
at the point you were looking for us, we were headed away from you!
