saturday i worked around here, raking leafs, mike hunted with the boys for opening day,no luck…sunday went to early service, so we could get down to columbus, with more of the day to work. shel,eliza, and maggs taking a break
eliza is such a trooper when she is there all day, she wasn’t feeling really good, but never complains
mike worked putting the headers in for the downstairs windows, i helped cut the wood for these and put some of them together…this isn’t a very good pic
james and jeff worked on the floor joists… 3/4 of these done now:)
work slowed down a bit, because james has had to be at his work, so not going as fast as it was in the beginning, but still pretty good progress… shel is getting anxious for all the sub floors to go in, and the crawl space to be covered…. had one search and rescue yesterday!!! eliza fell into the crawl space, where some of the sub floor had been laid down on top of the joists… she disappeard for a bit!
and for you that have asked about mikes job, for now he is staying with finkbiner and will have to be up in the office everyday, so will be looking for a small apartment up there to stay during the week…he has put together a resume and is sending it out to a couple of places, even if he takes a regional sales job, which would mean 4 or 5 states, he would rather be gone traveling then be gone sitting at a desk all day in an office!
