i had posted this pic on facebook of a magazine page i had found in some of nanny’s stuff’ it looks just like the window at the cottage, i really feel this was her inspiration, it brings back so many wonderful memories for me of summers’ at lake eliza
it inspired me to go out and buy some glass, so i can have a window like this:) not sure where yet, but i am starting to collect, so if you need an idea for something you want to get me, i need to find some more… keep your eye out for the purple color, i don’t have any of that and some more light yellow, or red…the two red pieces in this pic nanny gave me, the rest came from antique shops in lafayette and goodwill
i love that i found a log cabin one and the whiskey one… you can tell if it’s older glass, it’s usually heavier and has awesome cuts to it
i think i have a fish somewhere.
mom had some too…but i’m not sure if it survived the auction.
i’ll take the fish:) pretty sure nanny had one
