after 20 years at finkbiner, things were not going so well, the state of illinois is so broke and has no money to buy equipment and it has taken a toll on everyones sales, the gravy years from working with them were over…mike saw no bright spot in the future and after changes with his job and having to be up in the office during the week, he decided to look for a job here in indiana… i found this job on career builder.com and he interviewed 2 times and was hired:) the office he will report to…when he goes to an office (he still gets to have an office in our home) is in indianapolis, most of his sales will be in marion county, this company is the 3rd largest construction equipment company in the world! over 600 employees, he’s never worked for that large of a company, but so far, he said everyone he has dealt with has been nice and it is going to be so different working in indiana than illinois!

and now in our house you will see everything JCB!

hats shirts, literature, it’s weird after having all the finkbiner and gradall stuff, so i have to clean out the closets and get rid of all the shirts and jackets and hats from all the manufactures he always sold!

he is thankful to be away from the chicago and northwest indiana market, the people and the traffic! i think marion county is having a growth spurt like chicago and the south side and northwest indiana did 15 or 20 years ago, so i think it will be good to be in on marion countys growth:) …so we plan a move to south west of indianapolis… we haven’t started looking but will soon, we need to get this place ready to put on the market. not sure how the housing market is here in lafayette, a lot of houses for sale… if we can’t sell it, renting it could be an option, but i would like to just sell it and be done.

and life goes on:)
