the house is all decorated, i love this old house,
just wish it was in the country….. here are my decorations, i love the 10 ft. ceilings in here… i put a wreath in all the windows downstairs
my santa i made in ceramics, and in the background my oil lamp from nanny granny
my nativity, the year i made this one i made 5 in all, one for each of the kids to give to them when they got married, they were 20 piece sets! mike made all the stables
my stockings i did counted cross stitch on linen
you can see our stockings all hung, nineteen total this year!
i didn’t have my piano to put this on this year, so i put it up on the bookcase:) you can see some of my village i also made in ceramics, i leave up all year
our advent wreath i got years ago from Prince of Peace bazaar
candle on my picnic baskets
pencil tree
and one final one
and it just might be our last christmas here! going on 13 years we’ve owned this house, hard to believe! we won’t make much on it when we sell it, but it sure was a good investment for not giving Purdue all our money!
mike and i have a meeting with the realtor and the seller of a lot down on “lutheran lake” praying the guy will accept our unconventional offer… the realtor said he is open to it, if we can just agree on the numbers:) then our plan is to build, Lord willing it works out, if not we are waiting to see where HE leads us:)
