mike sat at steph’s kitchen table today, and thanked my mom for giving him the greatest gift he could have ever asked for…………..he told her he regretted not telling my dad…. and he wasn’t going to have that same regret again, so he said “i want to tell you face to face..thank you for the gift of your daughter”
don’t leave things unsaid if you have the chance……..you will be glad you told the people that are closest to you what they mean to you:)
so right. had to laugh that while sitting here, we reminded mom of what she said to us after seeing them at lake eliza for the first time, “i don’t want you hanging around w/ boys like that” (they had longer hair than we did 🙂
ha! and our hair was pretty long:)
