GIVE IT TO GOD

this is a little excerpt from one of the boys on the east coasts team that we housed…. when they started out on the road:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”I read this bible verse at training. It has given me direction in many situations. So whatever you may be struggling with give it to God fully and he will be there to give you peace and lead you in the right direction.

i like that:) if we give it to God, we will have peace….it works:) ….something i feel a lot more these days, because i have been able to do that.
i love spending these days with my mom, i spent the night again, so steph can get up and go to her moms in touch group… think i’ll make that my new routine, for tuesdays and wednesdays! it’s nice go to sleep tucking her in and waking up and snuggling:)
i laughed when steph left this morning and i got up to make pancakes, she was feeling like she wanted to go out! she said” do you supposed we could go out and go shopping today?” i said “no, mom we really can’t do that” she said “oh, i supposed not, stephanie would get mad at us, wouldn’t she?”
boy steph!!! it’s all your fault!!! you won’t let her go out!!!

oh don’t get me wrong, there are still things that trouble me…. and when i let it, it overcomes me…like the other day in the post office, mailing something to shel overseas, talking to the guy, while he is informing me what the deadline for christmas delivery is, it hits me! this christmas, i could not have my mom and my daughter with me…. and i am overcome with sadness…. tears falling on my package and i go sit in the parking lot sobbing…………….get control of yourself…can’t help it some days are just meant to be cry days!
