this was a prayer my mom, 84 years old, prayed this morning! it really took me by surprise, i got pretty choked up, i mean she still doesn’t think her job is done, she is a mom, who worries about her kids right to her dying days.
spent the last couple days up there, and we got to sit around and chat a little when she wasn’t sleeping, she cracks me up with her sense of humor sometimes, first she says, “i love my fried eggs cooked in cast iron, do you think Jesus likes his cooked in cast iron?” i said “i am sure he does:)” then she says i really love fish, i know Jesus loves fish! he probably likes it the way i like it too! oh i’m sure he does!
today a party in grandmas room, she loves the little kids and they just climb around near her:)
this pic was from my phone and i couldn’t get it to get any bigger???
oh and i was reading her what adrienne wrote as her memory and she thought the things she said were so nice and kind… i read to her sarah’s comment and she said, i feel bad i don’t remember what sarah looks like, and then said when we are in a room together, you will have to point her out to me, so i can thank her for her kind words! not that she will ever see sarah, but sarah if you read this, it meant a lot to her, she said people say such kind things, i don’t really deserve that.
Oh see. That’s so nice she said that 🙂 I just wish everyone would be open enough to be the best they can be for God and themselves, and the best they can be for others. It’s all a daily challenge!
